COMMUNITY IMPACT FUND

The Emma G. Musselman Foundation and the M.C. Jones Foundation provided the initial seed money for the Community Impact Fund. Creating a New Fund

The staff of the Adams County Community Foundation will make it easy to create your charitable fund. We do all of the paperwork and will give you the information necessary to guide your fund. We recommend you follow these steps:

  • Discuss your charitable ideas and goals with your family, friends, attorney and financial advisor.
  • Determine how you might best achieve your charitable goals and discuss the size and type of gift that is suited for your resources.
  • Contact the foundation to consider the type of fund that meets your charitable interests. Our goal is to help you create the fund that meets your goals.
  • Name your fund. A new fund may be created in your name or a loved one's name, as a memorial to a loved one, or named for a charitable cause that reflects the fund's purpose. If you wish, you, as the donor, may choose to remain anonymous.
